Here at Windwhistle, we are a large primary school in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset welcoming children aged 4 - 11 years old. We are also fortunate enough to have Little Waves Nursery and 3+ Preschool on our site.
Our values at Windwhistle's are 'Aim High, Respect Others, Have Fun'. All staff believe in these values which underpin their work to ensure children grow and develop during their time at Windwhistle.
As well as supporting your child's academic growth, Windwhistle offers an amazing pastoral support network who strive to support children's social and emotional needs. Our Senior Leadership Team monitors and assists with attendance. More information on supporting your child's attendance at Windwhistle can be found here.

Please call our friendly team on 01934 629145 if you have any questions and we will be happy to answer them for you.
As parents or carers, choosing a school for your child can be challenging. Most of us have been through the process ourselves so we understand. We’d like to help you and we'd love to meet you. We'd be delighted to walk you around the school, answer any questions and help through any questions around the admissions process if needed.
We are a well-established school. We work to prepare our children for secondary school of which there are many to choose from locally. We are well placed to support families with these choices as we work with and have established relationships with all secondary schools in the county and have been continually developing this for many years.
Our children are well supported, are challenged and inspired by our excellent staff, who aim to provide an extraordinary education that brings out the best in all of our young people, regardless of their ability or background. By being a part of Extend Learning Academies Network we work very closely together with our other schools across the area. Because of this we have access to large sports, cultural and arts events. Working together, our teachers are able to consistently broaden their skills in foundation subjects such as art, music and sports/PE.
If you would like your child to attend our school, please read through full details of our admission arrangements. Our headteacher , Heidi Hudd, is always happy to welcome prospective families for a personal guided tour of our facilities and discuss the aspirations you have for your child. Please telephone us on 01934 629145 to make an appointment.
